Hi there!

My name is Kristoffer Forsgren, a computer science student at LiU. I got in contact with Twingly in the same way Jonas did, bit even before that I was interested in the company. Since I got the information that they where going to hire some people for Twingly Summer of Code I immediately sent my application. A few weeks later I’m sitting here, in Twinglys nice office.

I grew a interest in programming when I was about 7 years old, at the age of 11 I started developing for the web. Currently I am running a tech related blog and I have also been involved in a lot of different web projects over the years, some new ones are ahead as well… ;)

This project is one of the most exiting I’ve ever worked with.

Hello!

My name is Jonas Kac, and I’m a third year Computer Engeneering student at LiU, Linköpings University, Sweden. I got in contact with Twingly, and the Twingly Summer of Code, during an exhibition at Uni, and got really interested in the Summer of Code project and decided to apply. I met with the Twingly CEO, Martin Källström, and the project looked TOO good. So I decided to apply on the spot.

My background and hopefull future is in the Web and the possibilities that it brings with it, and right now I’m really exited to be part of this project.

At the moment we haven’t really decided responsibilities, but so far it looks like I’ll be working with the backend together with Fredrik. You’ll know all about it soon!

Hi!

I’ve just finished my third year at LiTH, next year all the fun courses starts with my masters degree concentration, software development and security.

The first time I consciously got in contact with Twingly was the day after i won the price “IT-girl of 2008″ from Microsoft. Martin gave me a call and explained what Twingly does, about TSoC2008 and asked if i would send my CV and come for an interveiw. I immedliatly found the company and the project very interesting and I’m glad to be aboard with all these great people, beeing a part of this exciting project!

Hi!

I’m a “Master in Computer Science”-student studying at Linköping University (LiU), but will study Japanese for one year beginning this autumn. When I’m not studying I like to swim or be active in other ways. Except studying at LiU, I also work part time as a student counselor, is part of the Student union as board member and secretary, and take care of computer-related tasks as board member of Admittansen, an electronics society.

I think this will be a very exciting summer, working at Twingly with really pleasant colleagues! Every day is different. No day can be called a regular work day. We do everything from photographing ourselves sitting in trees to brain storming work-shops and programming.

This summer will for sure be exciting!
