The bugs are rising

So, we should have something to show you within two hours.

Right now we are hunting bugs and tweaking a lot of things to get things to work as they should (or at least a little bit more as intended).

My friends need some major backup right now, a huge scarab beetle is crawling out of Jonas machine.

Wish us luck!

Last day at the office

Hey Guys!

So it’s the last day of work today, before we go for a short vacation.

The time here at Twingly has been great! I’ve learned a lot, met some awesome people inside the office and outside (reboot10). And we have really made a cool product, which is not yeat finished, but it’s getting there and right now it’s more pollishing left than anything else.

I hope that I’ll be able to work here in the near future, and finish this thing.

Anyhow, tomorrow I’m leaving for a couple of days of vacation before school starts again and the real life with that.

Have a nice one! Cuz I will!

Over and out

Two days to go

We are so close to finishing the project, only a few small things is still left to do. The irritating part is that the few things we still have left is struggling a bit, there is some strange bugs and misbehaviors that have to be corrected. On top of this a lot of things are depending on each other, which leads to some difficulties with getting it all together.

However, we are having a great time (and I think I speak for all of us when I say that).

Today we have been finishing up some communication with the search engine to be able to load data dynamically. I had some problems with data that didn’t load as it should, in the end we discovered that it mattered how we started the project locally…

Oh, Helena and I both encountered some serious problems with the SVN again (surprise, surprise…). We haven’t figured out the exact cause to it yet, we could both do checkouts yesterday. Anyway, we have our fool proof way of repairing it by now, so I guess that we will merge the code tomorrow manually before cleaning up the SVN a bit.

I also got to see the graph being animated for the first time. I think it looks kinda cool… How about you?

I’m breaking up with you, Firefox

firefoxI’ve been with you for the past seven years, you where the first I installed that didn’t belong to the OS, but for the last couple of weeks you’ve just not been yourself. You have not been giving me what I want, what I’m used to getting. Frankly, you’ve been a bitch. Taking way to much time answering my questions, even though I’ve asked them politely with total focus on you, not working with anything on the side. You’ve broke down on me on several occasions even though I did nothing wrong, giving me a really self-destructive attitude. I hope I’ve found someone better, I’m switching to Opera. Opera also feels more close by since it partly has it’s roots here in Linköping (at least for the mini).

I’m prepared to put the past behind and take you back, if you’re willing to change, being nice to me, treating me as you’ve done most of the time all these years and most importantly performing as before. But for now, I’m sorry to say, I will no longer have you in my dock! That’s how disappointed you’ve made me.

That Opera won’t let me communicate with my friends, blocking facebook when I’m trying to log in, that’s just something I’ll have to figure out…

A graph(ical) mess

Hey guys,

Just got back from France after a weekend of vinyards and nice food.

And this is what meets me… Makes you wanna smile right :)

But the structure is getting refined and remade as I write.

I’ll keep you posted!
